Cancer Prevention Center (Tbilisi, Georgia) celebrated the World Hospice and Palliative Care day 2010 in the Palliative Care unit. We decided to celebrate this day by revealing of the best caregiver of the year, whom we would awarded by the certificate and the winner bonus. Winners where revealed by questioning of patients/families and staff members. 
Beside this respondents announced that they had never seen the worm and attention like this, everyone were so endearing. But finally was revealed two winners, because it was impossible to choose the best one, one of them was a nurse and the second was a volunteer. The team, patients and their relatives were so thankful for those persons that we decided to award them both. 
  We had award evening, invite patients and their family members with our team. They all had possibility to express their emotions about the multidisciplinary team and the palliative care as a part of the medicine. Family members and the patients said how important was that branch of medicine, how they suffered until they did not know about these services and said many thanks to every staff members. 
  The celebration of the World Hospice and Palliative Care day gave the patients/families as well as team members feeling of involvement of this world movement and they said that it was great idea to organize this event. 
    We announced the winner and gave certificates and prizes to them.
