Hospice and Palliative Care Awareness Week & Flashmob at the Pingtung Train Station

To promote public awareness of palliative care, Pingtung Christian Hospital held a series of events between September 17~21st which included activities such as a flashmob in the hospital lobby, a writing competition, experiential workshop activities open to the public, and a conference on palliative care. Then, on October 5th at 4pm, crowds at the Pingtung Train Station were pleasantly surprised by a flashmob of a group of 30 doctors and nurses from Pingtung Christian Hospital who performed three popular Taiwanese songs and held up signs that read, “Celebrating World Hospice and Palliative Care Day: I support Hospice and Palliative Care” before dispersing into the crowd.
