Making the End Count is an annual end-of-life conference for health care providers and community members to engage in timely and cogent discussions regarding end-of-life care. This year's conference will take place at the Klein Conference Center at the College of Central Florida, Ocala Campus. Keynote Speaker Timothy Quill, M.D. is a pioneer in palliative care and end-of-life decision making, regularly helping patients and their families confront some of the thorniest issues in the practice of medicine in the 21st century. Dr. Quill, along with a panel of area experts, will discuss end-of-life ethics, primary palliative care, difficult conversations and Alzheimer's disease. The conference will include case discussions, role-playing scenarios, panel discussions and participant interaction with speakers.
