Love Accompany Pain       - To Raise The Awareness For Hospice and Palliative Care                                         Hosting 2012HospiceandPalliative Care Campaign Week On the occasion of the World Hospice Palliative Care Day on the 13thof October,2012 Hospice and Palliative Care Week was planned by Koreas National Cancer Center(President Jin-soo Lee) and the Ministry of Health and Welfare (Minister Chae Min Lim) in order to raise the awareness of the palliative care to the Korean citizens and its necessity, with various events and academic seminars on the palliative care.With 41 organizations such as Korean Society for Hospice and Palliative Care, Korea National Cancer Center, regional cancer centers and specialized palliative care facilities for cancer patients participating in 2012 Hospice and Palliative Care Week, the event will be held from the 6thto the 19th of October in each region.National Cancer Center was conducted Hospice and Palliative Care exhibition and the National Cancer Information Center (www.cancer.go.kr) SNS via Hospice and Palliative Care Awareness OX quiz And e-learning courses for palliative care professionals and Palliative Care Guide for patients and their families, Hospice and Palliative Care, published by the publicity.After Hospice and Palliative Care Week of 2012, the consistent efforts to inform the public by the Korean government that the palliative care is not inpreparation for the impending death but for the active treatment method never for saking for the meaning of life, will continue.
