To mark World Hospice & Palliative Care day, the Glasgow End of Life Studies Group is hosting a free event at St John’s Episcopal / Methodist Church, 2 Newall Terrace, Dumfries DG1 1LW, at 10:00 on Saturday 3 October 2015. This free event will start with free Indian snacks, refreshments and music. Wellcome Trust Investigator Professor David Clark, founder of the Glasgow End of Life Studies Group, will introduce the WHPC day theme of Hidden Lives, Hidden Patients. Reverend Dr Hamilton Inbadas, Wellcome Trust Research Associate, will give a lecture: Palliative care in India: A story of the triumphs and travails of a developing country We would be delighted if you could attend this free, unticketed event at St John’s Episcopal / Methodist Church in Dumfries.
